Google pulls a summarized piece of information from a website and places it into its Search Engine Result pages so that users can quickly find the answers of small and simple queries. This piece of information is known as Featured Snippet. These snippets along with links are placed in a block at the top of the Search Engine Result Pages. Webmasters cannot create Featured Snippets. Google’s algorithm programmatically pulls some essential data and information from an authoritative site. Most of the Featured Snippets are created to answer some question queries like “What is ABC” or “Who established XYZ”. Some Features Snippets work like small tools like Calculators or Converters.
