Penguin is a Search Engine Algorithm created by Google. It has been released on April 2012. Since then, this algorithm has been updated regularly up to 2016. After 2016, it has been integrated into Google’s Core Algorithm. Penguin is used to determine the quality of the external links used on a website. Thus, it can easily identify spam links.
